Bienvenue à l’école! Welcome back! We hope everyone had a restful and safe summer. We know these times are different and we are working so hard together to have a safe return to school. We cannot wait to hear everyone’s summer adventures over the next while. Welcome to any new families and we look forward to welcoming back familiar faces as well. We know that the decision to return to school was taken very seriously and we respect all decisions families made.
We are looking forward to welcoming staff and students next week. On September 8th and 9th, the staff will be in the building. During these days we will be reviewing Health and Safety Protocols and Routines, reorienting ourselves back to the building, and setting up our learning spaces. On September 10th and 11th we’ll be welcoming students. Kindergarten students have their own schedule that was emailed to our new families and youngest learners.
On Friday, September 4th the school emailed all families about Orientation Week. It gives details on when your child is to arrive for their 75-minute session on both days. Please read it carefully as it has important information for you.
Daily Health Check Agreement Through Parent Connect – Complete Before Sept 10th
- BEFORE SEPTEMBER 10th, parents/guardians must go on Parent Connect, and select (for each child) “YES” that they received, read, and understand that parents/guardians are responsible for checking their child/children’s daily health, using the Health Check Form, before sending their child/children to school each day. This is part of the Health Officer’s and Ministry’s requirement – it is not optional.
- These Daily Health Checks are done at home using the Health Check Form provided (link below)
- Families do not send a Health Check Form with their child/children to school each day – it is for home use.
Below is the link to Parent Connect and to the Daily Health Check Form:
We look forward to seeing staff on September 8th and 9th, and welcoming back students on the 10th and 11th! Although it will look different, let’s all work together to stay safe and have a great year of learning.
