Sunshine Hills Before and After School Care

Sunshine Hills Before and After School Care is a program that provides before and after school care for students in Kindergarten to 12 years of age that are already enrolled in Sunshine Hills Elementary School. The morning child care is run by an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) who joins a Kindergarten classroom to work with the Kindergarten teacher after 9 am. The afternoon child care is run by a second ECE.

The child care component has a fee in order to cover the costs of child care. The child care costs are only the costs associated with the child care component of the day. The Ministry of Education and Childcare has provided a grant to the School District to help cover the costs of the ECE working in a Kindergarten class.

Hours of operation:

  • 7:00 am – 8:55 am
  • 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
